Students often arrive at university during one of life’s most formative transitions. They need local congregations—and they also need a daily environment where faith is practiced through relationships, questions, meals, service, and responsibility.


Haven House does not replace the local church. We help students find belonging in it, and we help churches bring their gifts closer to campus.

Introduce incoming students, prospective Resident Fellows, and young adults who need community.

Identify trusted adults who can listen, pray, and walk consistently with students.

Host a meal, lead worship, teach a seminar, serve on a project, or invite students into congregational life.

Partner through prayer, regular giving, special projects, and introductions to other Christian leaders.

Is Haven House a church?

No. Haven House is a Christian study center and discipleship household that works alongside local churches and encourages students to participate in congregational life

How can our church begin?

Start with a house tour and conversation. From there, choose one fitting step: refer students, host a meal, host a worship event, identify mentors, pray, serve, or support a project.

Can a ministry team visit or serve?

Yes. We welcome church and ministry teams for meals, projects, worship, prayer, outreach, seminars, and other coordinated services. And, if you have a young adult seeking a place to live and serve as your campus minister, we may have a spot at Haven House. 

Who does Haven House serve?

We primarily serve Stockton students and local young adults, while also connecting faculty, staff, alumni, families, churches, and friends of the university.
