Mobilizing and discipling global student leaders for God’s mission. We are responding to Jesus’ command to “Go, make disciples of all nations.” Matt. 28:19

Every Resident Fellow, volunteer, partner, and staff member at Haven House is challenged to respond to God’s call.
Engage the world in response to God through the biblical pathway outlined in 2 Peter 1:3-8.

YWAM Student Centre network staff serve on five continents. We collaborate on strategic projects. We speak multiple languages. We are passionate about helping university students and young adults know God and make Him known in their career choices and spheres of influence.

The UofN Student Mobilization Centre of Youth With A Mission was registered with the IRS and in the Commonwealth of Virginia in January 1998. We operate as a foreign nonprofit corporation in New Jersey.
In addition to local ministries in New Jersey, YWAM Student Centre is a transnational networking ministry of Youth With A Mission.

John and Mary Henry are longtime YWAM missionaries, teachers, mentors, and ministry leaders who have served together for more than four decades.
The Student Centre was birthed in prayer by the Word of the Lord, over many years with many words of encouragement, including a personal exhortation to start the Centre from YWAM’s founder, Loren Cunningham.
Originally named the UofN Student Mobilization Centre, we were commissioned by the Board of Regents of the University of the Nations, YWAM’s global university, in September 1997 in Seoul, South Korea. The name, UofN Student Mobilization Centre of Youth With A Mission, was registered with the IRS and in the Commonwealth of Virginia in January 1998. We have been registered to operate in New Jersey since 2013.
The Centre is a network. We are a University Ministries Circle of YWAM International. We are a YWAM staff team of certified coordinators on five continents. We are part of YWAM’s Campus Ministries International and we have trained hundreds of YWAM campus ministry staff, host partners, and volunteers.
The Christian Study Center at Haven House is operating next to Stockton University in Galloway Township, NJ.
Rather than starting a Christian Study Center with lectures and book studies, we are beginning with a home, which many young adults have little knowledge about, because they come from broken and/or dysfunctional families.
At the present time, Haven House is the home of John & Mary Henry. We welcome a few university students and young adults to be Resident Fellows of the Christian Study Center. All Resident Fellows are part of the ministries of Haven House, including prayer, hospitality, and outreach by living with our family, in our home, and welcoming friends to our table.

We are dedicated to knowing God and making Him known in Nations through Vocations.
YWAM Student Centre is registered with the IRS as UofN Student Mobilization Centre of Youth With A Mission.
We affirm the Bible as God's inspired and authoritative Word and the absolute reference point for every aspect of life and ministry.

To empower and equip students and young adults with transformative experiences that inspire personal growth, deepen faith, and cultivate global awareness. We foster learning, leadership, and service, encouraging individuals to pursue their unique calling. Through discipleship, training, and outreach programs, we aim to nurture purpose-driven lives committed to spreading the knowledge of the glory of God worldwide.
We have designed a discipleship experience for university students and any young adult dedicated to following Jesus into their unique calling from God. Specialized Fellowships/Internships provide an opportunity to collaborate in designing a serving/learning project based on studies, skill set, career goals, or calling.
Resident Fellows live, learn, and serve at Haven House Christian Study Center. Come for a visit to learn more about Resident Fellows at Haven House in Galloway, NJ.
Because the directors at Haven House have served with YWAM, we are committed to YWAM's Statement of Purpose and Foundational Values. Our Values are also built on 2 Peter 1:3-10.
Therefore, we believe God has called us.
Therefore, we make every effort to read, meditate, and listen to God’s Word.
Therefore, we seek to know and represent God’s character.
Therefore, we learn about God’s world, His works, and His ways.
Therefore, we yield to others with respect, making choices with integrity.
Therefore, we patiently endure as we obey all God says to do.
Therefore, we stand in a right relationship with God and before the audience of One.
Therefore, we respond to needs as ambassadors of reconciliation in our sphere of influence.
Therefore, we spread the aroma of Christ everywhere through integrity and sacrifice.

YWAM is an international volunteer movement of Christians from many backgrounds, cultures, and Christian traditions dedicated to serving Jesus worldwide. More than four million students, short-term volunteers, and staff have participated in YWAM since its inception.
